                                            Veronique de Rugy  is a senior research fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. She writes regular columns for Reason magazine and the Washington Examiner, and blogs at National Review Online's The Corner and at Big Government. She earned her M.A. in economics from the University of Paris IX-Dauphine and her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
